No one is saying Laci Green deserved death threats.

We all agree she didn’t deserve that.

Death threats aren’t ok.

However, Laci Green is not a perfect little princess who has never done anything wrong.

She made videos where she fucked up.

When called out on her fuck ups, she made excuses for her actions and tried to brush it off.

When called out on not actually apologizing, she got mad and said the “social justice blogs” were being “mean” to her.

That is not ok.

That is not acceptable behavior.

There is no excuse for that.

When Laci Green got death threats, everyone rushed to coddle her feelings and tell her how wonderful she was.

The people rushing to defend her were also demonizing the people criticizing Laci for her words and actions like their criticisms were somehow no longer valid.

It was pointed out that the exact same thing happens to many PoC and no one rushes to their side to defend them.

While pointing this out, we have said many, many, many, many times that the threats she received were not ok.

Now the people, mainly PoC, who were/are criticizing Laci Green have started to receive death threats.

No one is rushing to their defense.
